Soccer New Brunswick is a non-profit organization that was established on November 30, 1965 in Fredericton. The Association consisted of senior teams only until 1976, when youth soccer became a part of the sports in Canada.
The sport of soccer has seen a growth of over 500% in New Brunswick in the last 10 years and has now surpassed hockey player’s registrations to be the most played sport in the province.
As the provincial body for soccer in New Brunswick, Soccer New Brunswick performs the following functions for its membership:
- Govern and promote the sport of soccer to as wide of an audience in New Brunswick as possible; and
- Provides the opportunities for players to compete at all levels of the game.
Mission: To enable the development and growth of the sport of soccer in New Brunswick.
Vision: Inspire healthy communities across New Brunswick through soccer.
